About

Diagnosed in 2014, Andrea executed a multi-year endurance initiative that culminated in her 50th state marathon in May 2022. This project served as a high-visibility platform to drive significant revenue for ALS research, with her foundation directing resources toward bold, innovative treatments at the ALS Therapy Development Institute. Her historic achievement and advocacy are documented in the film Go On, Be Brave.

 

An urban planner by trade, Andrea applies a structural approach to her non-profit work.She currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, David.
