Clare Durrett is a veteran communications and public affairs leader now serving as Managing Director of Answer ALS, the world’s largest patient-driven ALS research consortium. She has decades of experience crafting high-impact campaigns. She helped share Steve Gleason’s story globally and mobilized support for ALS legislation. Durrett guided passage of the Steve Gleason Act (ensuring assistive devices for ALS patients) and other landmark bills, and she played a key role in securing Gleason’s Congressional Gold Medal.
