About
After his time on the field, he built a career in coaching and logistics before his diagnosis shifted his focus entirely to advocacy. He now leads the fight against ALS through The Goode Foundation, an organization born from his personal battle.
The foundation prioritizes the immediate, practical realities of living with ALS. While supporting research is part of the mission, the organization focuses heavily on alleviating financial strain for families by covering costs for travel, medical equipment, and home modifications. Through his "Goode for a Cure" campaign, he also works to highlight the prevalence of the disease among former athletes.
He remains a fixture in the Crimson Tide community, frequently rallying the fanbase to support the cause. He and his wife, Tanja, live in North Alabama.
