Matt Bellina is a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander who has leveraged his military background to become a primary legislative strategist for the ALS community.
About
Since his medical retirement in 2014, Matt has focused on high-level policy reform, most notably acting as a principal architect and witness for the “Right to Try” legislation passed by Congress. Beyond his legislative portfolio, he directs the Matt’s Mission campaign, which has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in research funding, serves as a strategic advisor for the ALS Champion Fund at UMass Medical, and serves on the Leadership Council for Augie’s Quest to Cure ALS.
A former naval aviator, Matt relocated his operations to Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he resides with his wife, Caitlin, and their sons.
