Shannon Shryne is the Co-Founder and President of Augie’s Quest, the nonprofit ALS research foundation started by fitness mogul Augie Nieto. With over 30 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership, she has led Augie’s Quest since its inception in 2005. Alongside Augie Nieto, Shryne built the organization’s nationwide network of events and partnerships, from charity fitness challenges and high-profile galas to broader collaborations that channel the fitness industry’s energy into ALS research.

Under Shryne’s leadership, Augie’s Quest has raised tens of millions of dollars to fund cutting-edge ALS programs, including the ALS TDI Translational Research Center. She cultivates relationships with corporate sponsors and sports figures to amplify the cause, and her vision remains rooted in Augie’s message of “inexorable drive” against ALS. Shryne’s work ensures that Augie’s legacy lives on. She continues to push for innovative research projects and keeps the community focused on achieving “Augie’s Cure.”
